HORIBA Jobin Yvon is proud to announce its partnership with GenOptics for the worldwide distribution of the SPRi-Lab+™ and SPRi-Plex™ surface plasmon resonance imaging systems.

SPRi (Surface Plasmon Resonance imaging) offers a new dimension in bio and life science applications such as drug delivery, diagnosis, biosecurity, antibody screening. It enables:

• Rapid quantification and monitoring of biomolecular interactions in the laboratory.
• The multiplexed analysis of a series of up to 400 activated label-free binding sites on a special SPRi biochip.
• Simultaneous measurements of all reactions ( binding affinity, target molecule detection, association rate, dissociation rate, surface coverage (pg/mm2, pmol/mm2…) all observed on a single biochip surface.

In just one SPRi experiment different parameters can be studied and compared: In the multiplexed array these parameters can be studied rapidly and with high specificity. Applications ranging from DNA:DNA, protein:DNA, protein:ligand or peptide:ligand interactions can be addressed with increased detectivity and speed compared to convential analysis techniques.
